摘要

多生牙的發生率並不低，且可能會造成許多的臨床問題。詳盡的臨床檢查與放射線檢查將可及早發現並予以治療。治療方式依多生牙的種類、位置及與鄰牙之關係而不同。然而，未萌發之上顎多生牙的最佳拔除時機，目前尚無定論。因此牙醫師應考量並統整各病患的諸多個別差異因素作出最適切該病患的完整治療計畫。本文提出一位存在兩顆結節狀的多生牙之臨床病例，並經長期追蹤至繼生齒萌發的過程。同時將分別就多生牙之發生率、成因、分類、診斷與治療，作完整的文獻回顧。

Supernumerary teeth are relatively common in the general population. Their presence may give rise to a variety of clinical problems. Early detection of supernumerary teeth is best achieved by thorough clinical and radiographic examination. Treatment depends on the type and position of the supernumerary tooth and on its effect of adjacent teeth. The best time for removal of unerupted maxillary anterior supernumeraries is controversial. Each case should be individually assessed, and requires careful treatment planning with multidisciplinary input. This article presents a clinical case with two tuberculate type supernumerary teeth who is under long term follow up until succeeding permanent central incisors eruption. We also provide an overview of supernumerary teeth, including prevalence, etiology, classification, diagnosis, and management.
