臺灣地區社區大學音樂課程之內容分析

A Content Analysis of Music Courses Offered by Community Universities in Taiwan

摘要


本研究採內容分析法,以台灣地區之一般社區大學及原住民部落社區大學於2005年秋季班擬開設之433門音樂課程為研究對象,分類整理開課說明與授課大綱共發現有11種課程,由多至少依序是:國樂樂器演奏、流行與通俗歌曲演唱、西洋古典與通俗樂器演奏、音樂欣賞、傳統音樂、傳統戲曲、合唱團、世界音樂、音樂治療、歌謠創作、幼兒音樂教育。各種類之間數量落差很大,顯示大部份社區大學音樂課程不夠多樣化;區域與縣市之間課程數量落差也很大,以北部地區最豐富,中部、南部、東部、及原住民部落地區則漸次不理想。文中並根據社區大學創辦理念與文獻所提出之社區大學藝術課程目標,探討所開設之音樂課程與理想的符合情形,發現問題,進而提出建議。

This study investigates the music courses offered by community universities in the fall semester of 2005 in Taiwan. A total of 43 music courses are identified. The content analysis is based on interpretation of the collected course descriptions. Eleven types of music courses have emerged from the data. According to their amounts from the most to the least, they are: playing Chinese instruments, singing popular and folk songs, playing Western classical and popular instruments, appreciation of music, traditional genres of music, traditional genres of opera, choruses, world musics, music therapy, composition of songs, as well as music education in early childhood. The amounts and varieties of music courses offered by community universities in the northern area are a lot more than those of any other area in Taiwan. Big differences also exist between urban and rural areas. In addition, this paper reports the results of comparisons between the goals of the community universities and the offered music courses, reveals some common problems concerning the music courses offered by the community universities, and provides suggestions to future curricular design.
