The Narrative Image of a Physically Disabled Person's Leisure Constraints

摘要

本研究探討的主題是肢體障礙者的休閒阻礙，因此採用Garald Zaltman提出的隱喻抽取技術（Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique, ZMET），以一位高涉入、男性、45歲且持輔具的重度肢障人士為對象，藉由圖像幫助思考，透過深度訪談，探知其相關休閒阻礙內心的想法和感覺。研究結果顯示，「殘缺的障礙」、「有形的距離」、「歧視的眼神」、「不安的心靈」、「衰弱的體力」與「理想伴侶的缺乏」等六大構念，是研究對象最主要的休閒阻礙，同時也是內心對自我和社會的一種期待。研究建議應針對不同障別群體的屬性進行充分瞭解，形塑適宜的政策，並擬訂個別化方案，以協助肢障人士發展自我認同，充分展現其信心，進而能夠享有較高品質的休閒生活。

This study aims to explore the leisure constraints of a physically disabled person. The Metaphor Elicitation Technique (ZMET) was used to collect individual's thoughts and feeling of leisure constraints. The participant was a severe physically disabled male aged 45 with assistant equipments. The results show that ＂incomplete body＂, ＂visible distance＂, ＂discriminated eye-contacts＂, ＂restless soul＂, ＂weak physical fitness＂ and ＂lack of ideal partner＂ are not only the main leisure constraints, but also the expectations to the inner self and society. The suggestion show that the need and ability assessment of this group should make carefully so that a suitable plan, execute and evaluation could be done. The physically disabled people can get their confidence and identification for a beautiful leisure life.
