The purpose of this study is two-fold: 1) to discuss the relationship among Judo athletes' social support, fluent experience, and satisfaction and 2) to model them from a cause-and-effect perspective. The samples are student Judo athletes in Taiwan, who receive three kinds of questionnaires for social support, fluent experience, and satisfaction respectively. A total of 378 samples were valid, and data were statistically tested by Pearson Product Moment (PPM) correlation and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results indicate that social support has a significant and positive impact on athlete's fluent experience, which has a subtle effect on satisfaction. Fluent experience, therefore, plays a mediating role in the cause-and-effect light. This study suggests that Judo coaches should create an environment of immense social support so that student athletes' fluent experience can be enhanced and great satisfaction can be achieved.
