Constructing Bisexual Identities and Subjectivities through Building Bisexual Community

摘要

本文欲從台灣的雙性戀社群談起，藉由社群的集結、活動看見台灣雙性戀的身分認同與情慾實踐。作者指出，二元的異／同結構所造就的雙性戀恐懼是雙性戀者不得不面對的特殊現象，所以他們在情慾展演所成就的主體，需要高度依賴於「跨越」。從田野資料發現，在雙性戀恐懼作用下，雙性戀者依所處陣營，有時展示同性戀模樣，有時展示出異性戀模樣，日復一日地實踐跨情慾，形成主體性。因此，雙性戀的跨越實踐，其實只是從異／同性戀情慾「跨越」到同／異性戀情慾，而非跨越異／同這條界線。弔詭的是，原本欲打破異／同界線的雙性戀社群，卻在日復一日重複地展演情慾中，鞏固異／同界線，深化情慾分類。他們在做情慾，也在深化情慾身份的區隔。但本文作者指出，儘管雙性戀的「跨越異／同」看似鞏固異／同結構，但另一方面，正是這種不得不「跨越異／同」的生存策略，才更爲凸顯單性戀結構的問題與限制。最後，本文也希望能呈現並揭露出台灣第一個雙性戀社群存在之意義與貢獻。

This study explores the bisexual identity formations in Taiwan. Due to the existed research rarely recognize the bisexual subjects, the authors attempt to present bisexual subjects' experience in terms of this qualitative research. In terms of doing fieldwork in ”Bi the Way”, a newly organized social group, the researchers collect data to analyze the formation of bisexual identity. Border-crossing is not easy. The bisexuals of ”Bi the Way” have built their own community and are trying to develop more discourses to enhance their sexual identities. The authors hope that these empirical findings prove useful in illuminating that bisexual people's resistance is on the margin and the bisexual community, is built to be empowering.
