The paper studies how the new-style course arrangement for the General Education Forum course influences students' perceptions of those aspects related to cooperative learning at YY University. The study can also serve as the reference of improving this kind of course in higher education in Taiwan. This course relies on teacher's competence on cooperative learning and cooperative learning strategies in the General Education Forum course at YY University. We use the Kano's two-dimensional quality model (Kano model) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to present the two-dimensional quality attributes of various aspects of this course. The result shows that new-style course arrangement for the course of General Education Forum affects students' perceptions on the quality attributes of those aspects in cooperative learning. It implies that instructors in the new-style course arrangement for the course of General Education Forum can influence students' perception of those aspects related to cooperative learning if the instructors have competence on cooperative learning.
