身體不同位置加速度分析跑步機跑步身體活動量之研究

Acceleration on Different Body Positions to Estimate Energy Expenditure during Running on a Treadmill

摘要


前言:許多體適能指標使用攝氧量、心跳來評估身體活動量,但這些測量方式需要昂貴的器材。本研究利用跑步時身體不同位置產生之加速度與心跳作比較,証實一個更方便的身體活動量測量方法。方法:十五位男性實驗參與者將三個三軸加速規分別置於左手手腕、軀幹(下背)、左腳腳踝,然後依序在4、6、8、10、12、14、16 km.hr^(-1)的速度下進行跑步,實驗參與者在每個速度下心跳達穩定後繼續跑步30秒,比較不同部位各軸加速度、各平面加速度、總和加速度和心跳率之間的相關性,以及重覆量測單因子變異數分析不同部位各軸加速度、各平面加速度、總和加速度在不同跑步速度之差異性。結果:(一)跑步時手部擺動產生的加速度與心跳有顯著相關(r = .817)。(二)三軸加速規所測得的手腕前後軸(Y)、矢狀面(Y-Z)加速度可預估跑步時的身體活動量。討論:手腕加速度積分值的高相關性,以及在前後軸(Y)、矢狀面(Y-Z)的顯著差異,證明了跑步時手臂前後擺動產生的加速度適合代表身體活動量。結論與建議:以上的訊息有助於未來發展一個方便又準確評估身體活動量的裝置,可以使用單軸加速規與手錶結合,降低生產成本。

Backgound: Many fitness index used VO_(2max) and heart rate to estimate energy expenditure, but these current methods require expensive equipment for the direct measurement. This study tried to determine a more convenient way to estimate energy expenditure by comparing the relationship of heart rate with acceleration on different positions while running on a treadmill. Method: Fifteen males wore three tri-axial accelerometers, and the placements of accelerometers were left wrist, trunk (low back) and left ankle. Each participant ran 30 sec at 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 km∙h^(-1) after they keep stable heart rate in these speeds. Comparing correlation of heart rate with acceleration of different axes, different planes and total acceleration by Pearson product-moment correlation. Comparing difference of different placements with acceleration of different axes, different planes and total acceleration by repeated measured one-way ANOVA. Results: (1) The total acceleration on wrist is significantly correlated with heart rate in this study. (2) The acceleration of Y-axis and sagittal plane of wrist indicated that wrist is a good placement to estimate energy expenditure during running on a treadmill. As total acceleration of wrist have high correlation with heart rate, and significant difference in Y-axis and sagittal plane of wrist indicated that wrist is a good placement to estimate energy expenditure during running on a treadmill. Conclusion: All information is very useful to develop a new device to accurately estimate energy expenditure using watch which is more convenient compare to current devices in the market.
