運動績優生在體育專業學校與一般大學體育科系適應情況之比較:以輔仁大學體育系與國立體育學院為例

A Study of College Student Athletes' Life and Academic Adaptation: Comparison between Fu-Jen Catholic University and National College of Physical Education & Sports

摘要


本研究主要目的在比較體育專業學校與一般大學體育科系的運動績優生生活與學業適應情況。本研究以88-91學年度,經甄試和甄審入學的私立輔仁大學和國立體育學院就讀學生共268人為施測對象。其中男生191位,女生77位。本研究徵得受試者同意後,填寫生活適應量表與學業適應量表。原始資料以獨立樣本t考驗進行統計分析。研究結果如下:(一)在生活適應方面,國立體育學院學生比輔仁大學學生較能適應,但在性別與原高中(職校)畢業學校未達顯著差異。(二)在學業適應上,女生比男生較能適應,但在就讀學校與原高中(職校)畢業學校未達顯著差異。本研究建議未來研究可以更深入探討學生運動員多重角色的經驗衝突、例如發展中的成人、運動員、學生和公眾人物等,以及提供學生運動員所需要的特殊的諮商課程。

The purpose of this study was to compare college student athletes' life and academic adaptation between Fu-jen Catholic University (FCU) and National College of Physical Education & Sports (NCPES). This study sampled 268 student athletes from above two schools and administered with Life and Academic Adaptation Scale. A t-test statistical analysis found student athletes in NCPES had better life adaptation than Fu-jen Catholic University but no differences either in terms of gender or original high schools' background. In terms of academic adaptation, it is found female student athletes had better academic adaptation than male student athletes, but no differences either between NCPES and FCU or original high schools' background. This study concluded that student athletes have their unique experiences compared to general college students. The future study may examine their multi-roles' conflict as developing adults, athletes, students and public performer. Also, it is suggested that intercollegiate athletic administrators, coaches, sport psychology consultant, and student affairs administrators had to be set up a special counseling program to meet their need.
