A Study of Role Stress and Burnout of Junior High School Physical Education Teachers in Taipei

台北市國中體育教師角色壓力與職業倦怠之關係研究

摘要


本研究目的在探討台北市國中體育教師角色壓力與職業倦怠之關係。母體共蒐集了473位服務於61所台北市國中體育教師。由路徑分析分析台北市國中體育教師角色壓力與工作倦怠關係之結果得知,感受到「角色衝突」的體育教師對「情感疲憊」、「無人情味」及「個人成就感」等三方面有正向的影響,統計分析達顯著水準,其中以「情感疲憊」與「無人情味」的影響較大。而感受到「角色模糊」的體育教師對「無人情味」與「個人成就感」亦為正向的影響,統計分析達顯著水準,其中以「無人情味」的影響較大。綜合本研究結果,提出具體建議,供學校或相關教育行政單位作為參考,並釐清體育教師角色定位,減緩其職業倦怠,以免影響體育教育之發展。同時建議進行更廣泛的後續研究。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the role stress and occupational burnout of junior high school PE teachers. The population included 473 junior high school PE teachers in Taipei. The path analysis indicates significant relationship between junior high school PE teachers' role stress and burnout. Multiple Regression analysis indicates teachers with higher level of role conflict appeared higher level of Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization and less Personal Accomplishment. The teachers with higher level of Role Ambiguity appeared higher level of Depersonalization and less Personal Accomplishment. The researcher provided recommendations for junior high schools to lower their PE teachers' burnouts. Moreover, the recommendations for further study were also provided.
