國小學童體適能對游泳能力之影響

The Effects of Physical Fitness on Swimming Performance in Elementary School Students

摘要


本研究旨在瞭解國小學童體適能之狀況,並探討不同的體適能指標與游泳能力間之相關情形。以桃園縣某國小六年級學生為研究對象,排除未完成檢驗之學生,共得有效樣本208位。根據資料使用描述性統計以分析學童體適能各項之狀況分佈、皮爾森積差相關分析瞭解各體適能指標與游泳能力間之關係為何。研究結果顯示:一、學童體適能的各項指標與國內學童體適能常模比較,除男童在「坐姿體前彎」落後平均外,其他項目皆落在中間值範圍,且整體而言,男童的體適能表現皆優於女童;二、就各項體適能指標與游泳能力間相關程度來看,學童之游泳能力與立定跳遠(肌力)和仰臥起坐(肌耐力)具有顯著的正相關;而與身體質量指數、坐姿體前彎(柔軟度)、800公尺跑走(心肺適能)則未達到顯著水準。

The purposes of this research were to understand the physical fitness of elementary school students and to investigate the relationships between different physical fitness indexes of elementary school students and swimming performance. By examining Taoyuan sixth grade students and eliminating the student who did not finish whole swimming process, there were 208 students. We used descriptive statistics to analyze the distribution of each student's physical fitness index and Pearson correlation matrix to understand the relationships between physical fitness indexes and swimming performance. The results showed that, first, comparing students' physical fitness with all elementary school students in Taiwan, all physical fitness indexes were located at the middle range except for boys' sit and reach test. Overall, performance of boys' physical fitness was better than girls' performance. Second, according to the relationship between physical fitness indexes and swimming performance, student's swimming performance had significant and positive correlation with standing jump test (muscular strength) and sit-ups test (muscular endurance). However, student's swimming performance had non-significant correlation with BMI, sit and reach test (flexibility), and 800m run walk test (cardiovascular endurance).
