Markedly Decrease Hepatic FDG Avidity in Two Patients With Severe Hypoalbuminemia

兩位嚴重低白蛋白血症病人呈現肝臟F-18去氧葡萄糖攝取率顯著下降

摘要

Decreased hepatic uptake of 2-[fluorine-18] fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (FDG) had been reported in the patient with hyperinsulinemia under unsatisfactory fasting and hyperthyroidism. We are presenting two cases of markedly reduced FDG avidity without abnormal increase in muscular uptake. Both patients had no history of chronic liver disease and had normal thyroid function, and well complied with the fasting protocol. Both of them experienced prolonged starvation and finally presented with hypoalbuminemia. The low avidity of liver and hypoalbuminemia could be both associated with malfunctioning hepatocytes caused by prolonged starvation.

肝臟F-18去氧葡萄糖攝取率顯著下降曾被發現在未配合禁食造成的高血清胰島素，以及甲狀腺機能亢進的個案中。我們報告兩位呈現肝臟F-18去氧葡萄糖攝取率顯著下降的個案，影像中未呈現肌肉攝取增加，病人無慢性肝臟疾病或甲狀腺功能異常的病史，且檢查前皆完全配合禁食時間。兩病人皆有長期進食困難終造成血清白蛋白低下的狀況。肝臟攝取率顯著的下降應代表肝細胞功能異常，可能與長時間飢餓造成的營養狀況異常具有相關性。
