摘要
隨著各項神經照護觀念的更新及建立，以及各項腦部參數監測儀器的發展，神經重症照護於近年來逐漸成為醫界關注的焦點，尤其是頭部外傷病人的照顧，除了受傷當時已產生的衝擊和破壞，神經重症照護更加著重在預防次級傷害及維持腦部灌流以求更佳的預後，而各個科部包括神經外科、神經內科、麻醉科、呼吸治療科以及護理專業照護的互相配合下，神經重症照護已然發展為一個次專科，而各個腦部參數領域的發展及實證研究也都是現在進行式，以求頭部外傷病患有更好的預後及更佳的生活品質。
