高齡患者的二尖瓣逆流治療

摘要

二尖瓣逆流在高齡患者族群為常見心臟瓣膜疾病同時也是開心瓣膜手術的主要原因之一，然而高齡患者年紀過大、左心功能不全及多重共病症等都是造成相對手術高風險的常見原因，而進一步導致患者拒絕或無法接受瓣膜開心手術治療，藥物治療無效之嚴重二尖瓣逆流，後續常演變成進行性心臟衰竭等心臟疾病，除了降低高齡嚴重二尖瓣逆流患者存活率，也造成醫療資源龐大負擔。隨著心導管技術及醫材的進步，經導管二尖瓣修補手術（MitraClip）於2013年通過美國FDA核准，同時臨床試驗也驗證其安全及有效性，成為高手術風險的嚴重二尖瓣逆流高齡患者另一種治療選項。
