近年國際知名牌酒店推動紛紛注入亞洲市場,推動高端商務型酒店快速發展,而國內現代酒店業的發展起步較晚,針對連鎖酒店設計理論專著較有限,許多資料缺乏深入系統化分析。本研究動機探討高端商務型酒店空間以萬豪國際集團旗下萬怡(Courtyard)酒店為例如何透過品牌形象的定位與滿足顧客多項需求的過程探究空間構成之設計原則與關聯性。目的是透過實際案例分析空間功能與關聯探討酒店空間構成,以酒店業内著名的諮詢公司酒店業STR(Smith Travel Research)所提供之市場與服務分析為參考依據。研究方法採收集相關實例考察及圖面資料,首先闡述酒店之名詞定義並分析連鎖酒店類型並進一步了解國際級商務型連鎖酒店(Courtyard)發品牌展、服務精神與市場定位,去探討商務型連鎖酒店的空間組成、面積規模,可將酒店空間組成為主要三大區:公共區(整體建築20%)、客房區(70%)、後勤服務區(10%)。1.公共區:大廳、餐飲空間、宴會空間、健身娛樂空間;2.客房區:普通客房、行政樓層;3.後勤服務區:行政辦公區、員工生活區、食品加工區、洗衣房與工程機房區。
In recent years, the famous international hotel brands have introduced into the Asian market successively to promote the rapid development of high-end business-type hotel, whereas the development of the modern domestic hotel industry starts late and has limited access to theoretical monograph, amount of information lack of in-depth systematic analysis, on the hotel chain design. The study aims to discuss the design concept and relevance of the high-end business-type hotel spatial structure, which takes Courtyard hotel under the Marriott International, Inc. as an example to see how its brand positioning and customer needs satisfaction process work. The purpose is to explore the structure of the hotel through practical case analysis of its spatial function and relevance. It is based on the analysis of market and service provided by the famous consulting firm STR (Smith Travel Research) within the hotel field. The research methodology is to collect the relative practical cases and graphic information. It first illustrates the definition of the hotel as well as analyses the type of the hotel chain, and further understand the international business hotel chain (Courtyard) brand development, service spirit and market positioning, and discuss business-type chain hotel spatial structure, area size. The hotel spatial structure is built up based on the three main areas: the public area (20% of the whole building), room area (70%), back-end service area (10%). 1. Public area: reception hall, dining room, banquet room, fitness and entertainment centre 2. Room area: guest room, executive floor 3. Back-end service area: administrative office, staff living area, food processing area, laundry room and engineering room.
