摘要

本文主要之目的，乃在介紹知識組織工具的發展及應用現況。首先從網路資源蒐尋問題談起，說明語意網的時代意義，進而介紹語意網的核心技術－知識本體（Ontology）之類型、語法及應用，最後簡單的說明歐美國家針對檔案，發展索引典的概況。

The main purpose of this article is to present the development and applications of knowledge organization tools. We start with searching problems on the World Wide Web and then explain the significance of semantic web in the digital age. Furthermore, we introduce the core technologies of semantic web-types, syntax and applications of ontology. Finally, we explain a succinctly introductory survey of the thesauruses of archives as currently under development in the Unite d States and European countries.
