“Music” is the prior one of cultural creative industry project the government vigorously invests in. Chased by Mainland China, it's interesting to see if Taiwan can keep the reputation of Chinese music center. By adopting Porter's value chain analysis, this study finds out, Taiwan music industry owns competitive advantages of abundant creation capability, entrepreneur capitals, and know-how. But the crisis of creation homogeneity and talents lost emerges. Besides, only follows as Porter suggested, music, media and internet-tech three industries become industry clusters, can Taiwan music industry has the chance to take the initiative victory in Chinese music markets.
