摘要

本研究主要在探討資訊人員之人格特質對其工作壓力的影響，使用問卷調查法進行資料收集，由中華民國資訊經理人協會的會員以及屏東科技大學資管系所歷屆系友進行隨機的抽樣調查。藉由工作壓力分別測量資訊人員的離職傾向、憂鬱、焦慮、低自尊、生理壓力反應等。人格特質量表則測量資訊人員的A/B 型人格特質與內外控人格特質傾向。研究結果發現，資訊人員的人格特質確實會影響資訊人員的工作壓力感知，而不同行業的資訊人員則會感知不同程度的工作壓力。本研究並針對分析結果，提供適當的建議給企業及資訊人員做為實務上的參考。

This thesis investigates relationship between personality traits and job stress of MIS professionals. Samples were randomly selected from the members of Information Management Association of R.O.C. (IMA) and alumni of MIS department, Graduate School, National Pingtung University of Science & Technology (NPUST). All data were collected by a questionnaire survey. Tendency of resignation, job fatigue, level of melancholy, anxious and low self-esteem were used for measuring job stress level. Various scales and inventories were used in the questionnaire, including: Internal-External Control Scale, Type A/B inventory and Job Stress Scale.
There exists a significant relationship between personality trait and subordinates job stress. Both Type A/B and locus of control were found to be good predictors for job stress. The extent of stress MIS professionals feel depends on the industry which they are in.
