口袋書購買動機及滿足程度之研究

A Research of Pocket Book's Purchasing Intention and Gratifications

摘要


面對科技日漸發達,電子書載具的出現,令紙本書市場開始面臨激烈的競爭。然而,有不少人認為紙本書的閱讀感覺是網上瀏覽或電子書所難以取代的。在現今出版界越趨激烈的情況下,口袋書卻以其獨特的方式生存。在便利店最常見的一種出版品便是口袋書,它不但價格便宜、體積細小且容易收藏,其重量亦遠遠輕於一般紙本書。對於不愛使用電子閱讀載體的人來說,除了成為一個不錯的選擇外,其重量亦較一般電子閱讀載具輕巧。口袋書的銷量在電子書的出現下仍能保持穩定,這表示它在台灣的出版市場或許仍存有很大的發展空間。因此,了解讀者為何在現今的數位化時代,仍會選擇購買口袋書的購買動機及滿足程度則成為本次研究之目的,並期望本研究能為出版口袋書的業界作為參考。本研究以問卷調查收集資料,以曾購買過口袋書的讀者為對象,在問卷回收及資料整理後再進行分析。結果顯示,讀者對口袋書的大多數購買動機也獲得滿足,但相關出版業者未來在出版口袋書時,仍須加強「建立和他人聊天之話題」、「購買地點方便」、「打發無聊時間」、「能提高競爭力」等,以滿足讀者動機需求。

Since eBooks emergence, printed books were impact on the whole publishing market and began to face fierce competition. Pocket books had its own way to survive in publishing industry at present. People can find pocket books at convenience stores easily. Pocket books are not only low-priced, but also small and storage easily, the weight is much lighter than normal printed book and e-Reader. The research may know why readers choose to buy pocket books. The aim of research understands pocket book reader's purchasing intention and motivations. The questionnaire was conducted to collect the necessary information. The result shows readers didn't totally fulfill their purchase intention after they read the pocket books. We hope the results of this study can provide to the publisher as a valuable reference for their marketing strategies.
