本研究旨在探討,數位出版領域中電子書的商業模式,運用資料採礦技術(Data Mining),針對各種商業模式進行文獻探勘、挖掘,並進行文件資料分析(Documentary-methods),以期瞭解出版業的數位出版商業模式現況,再採用個案研究的方法蒐集Pubu電子書城商業模式與之驗證後,建構完成Pubu電子書城商業模式圖,再進一步採用專家深度訪談法,探討電子書可能之商業模式,以建構電子書商業模式之知識,本研究所的結論如下:1. 數位出版商業模式有四個步驟,分別為,建立數位出版商業模式框架、出版品投入處理及產出、導入數位出版電子商務五流、應用經營管理軟實力的相關軟體。2. Pubu電子書城商業模式,內含B2C(Business To Customer)和B2B(Business To Business)兩種銷售方式、內容供應者、付費管道、購買方式及消費者。3. 電子書可行之商業模式。最後並提出建議以供數位出版企業參考。
As e-books are becoming more popular and their sales continue to increase dramatically, publishers and authors are more concerned with issues such as the business model for e-books. This qualitative research study was thus initiated to review and analyze the business model for e-books. Documentary-methods, Case Study on Pubu e-Book Platform and Data Mining technologies were used to collect data on this new e-books industry, its business model structure dissected thoroughly, combined with in-depth expert interviews to reach the most optimal business model for the eBooks. The final conclusions on Business Model for e-Book on the platform of Pubu and recommendations were then summarized and presented at the end of this research study.
