軟式打樣應用於報業廣告打樣流程之可行性

報紙發行最大的收益來源為營業廣告版面，刊登廣告的客戶對於刊登廣告的印刷品質會有所要求，因此，打樣成為報紙上機印刷前不可或缺的工序，除了要給刊登廣告客戶一個實際上機印刷後廣告的印刷品質基準，也是上機印刷時印刷機操作人員的印刷調控準則。目前國內報紙廣告打樣輸出，仍然以數位噴墨打樣為主要方式，其生產週期長，且耗費人力、物力、時間，對報業印前產業的升級更是莫大的阻力。軟式打樣多項優點越來越受人們的重視，尤其是借助網際網路優勢，以實現遠距離打樣的功能，對於報業出報的時效而言更為合適，而軟式打樣能是否能夠改善報業流程，且要達到結果，流程的標準和穩定才是一切的根本。因此，本研究將以軟式打樣應用於報業廣告打樣為研究對象，將採用文獻分析、實驗及訪談的方式，瞭解軟式打樣在報業廣告打樣之流程及色彩品質控制上是否有可行性。研究結果發現最佳且最少變動將軟式打樣加入報業廣告打樣作業的方式是將軟式打樣規劃在經過RIP解譯之後；技術端及業務端對於軟式打樣，因為螢幕與印刷品的差異仍還有差距，因此目前對軟式打樣保持著保守態度，但依據印前作業數位化發展的程度來看，對於未來業廣告打樣使用軟式打樣的企望仍可期待。

Advertisements are the major profit in the newspaper business. Contract proof is indispensable to the newspaper advertisement production workflow while advertising agents request for the print quality. Digital Proofing is the standard proofing process in the newspaper prepress workflow in Taiwan. Digital Proofing has long product cycle and the cost of material and labor is high. On the other side, soft proofing has many advantages over the conventional digital proofing. Particularly, it can provide remote proofing over the Internet. The soft proofing might me more suitable for the newspaper productions. The purpose of this research is to explore the soft proofing application in the newspaper advertisement production workflow, to decide what is the best workflow for soft proofing in newspaper advertisement proofing, and the satisfaction of advertisers. The research is based on literature review, on-site testing, and in-depth interviews. The results show that the best soft proofing is to utilize the same 1-bit TIFF that is ripped for the CTP output to ensure the accuracy of the proof. There are still some discrepancies between soft proofing and real newspaper production especially on the texture of the newsprint. However, the major advantages of the soft proofing will still provide benefits and be the future choice in the newspaper production.
