開花在植物生活史中是重要的一環,Flowering Locus T (FT)基因所轉譯出之蛋白質產物即為開花素,為開花的訊號,調控花芽的形成。本研究自山櫻花(Prunus campanulata Maxim.)成功釣取其FT基因全長序列,命名為PcFT。進行分析比對後,結果顯示PcFT在序列相似度上與薔薇科植物相近,其基因之相似度相當高。另外,本研究亦依據蛋白質結構之分析,為開花素蛋白質立體模型。因此,本研究對山櫻花之FT基因序列及其蛋白質產物進行初步分析,將有助於了解山櫻花開花之調控機制。
Flowering is the most important part of plant life. The protein encoded by Flowering Locus T (FT) gene is florigen, involved in floral signaling on flower bud formation. In this research, we isolated the full-length FT gene from Prunus campanulata. After aligned with other FT like genes, we found that this gene is very similar to those FT genes from other Rosaceae plants. According to protein structure analysis, the result is the predicted florigen structure. This preliminary analysis of Prunus campanulata FT like genes may help us to understand more about the P. campanulata flowering regulation.
