This article describes a newly developed frame of reference for the socially disabled people. The social skill frame of reference for the was developed according to Mosey's (1992) definition of frame of reference of occupational therapy, several theories of social skill and the social learning theory (Bandura, 1972). It can be applied to people who have social withdrawal or social difficulties. It is hoped that this frame of reference can provide another communicative bridge between the theory and practice of occupational therapy.
