Quercetin Glucuronides Inhibit the Growth of Human Acute Myeloid HL-60 Leukemia Cells

We previously demonstrated that quercetin glucuronides could affect N-acetylation of 2aminofluorene in human acute myeloid leukemia HL-60 cells. The present study examined the cytotoxicity of quercetin glucuronides to human acute myeloid leukemia HL-60 cells. Cell death was monitored by assessing morphological changes, nuclei condensation, viable cells, cell cycle phase arrest and DNA damage. Our result indicate that quercetin glucuronides can induce cell death of HL-60 cells.
