A 3-D Current Model for Potential Scouring of Seabed around a Breakwater in Port of Taichung

台中港防波堤頭附近海床淘刷潛勢之三維潮流數值模擬

摘要


由波流長期交互作用,可能在結構物附近海域造成底床淘刷,導致結構的破壞甚或傾倒,如港灣防波堤堤頭附近的海底地形,可能因為波浪及海潮流的集中、下沖或轉向等造成堤頭沖蝕。本研究以台灣西海岸中部台中港為例,應用FLOW-3D® CFD軟體對本區海域進行三維潮流流場數值模擬,以台中港外海現場觀測之實時潮位作為開放水域邊界條件,以實測水深建立定床邊界,港口實體物理模型為封閉邊界。本文為了確定數值計算的精確度,包括:數值潮流流場網格獨立性測試、計算邊界敏感性測試等。本研究模擬結果以視覺化呈現防波堤堤端隨著漲落潮產生週期性帶狀束縮流,淘刷區底床多餘剪應力的分布情形及底床邊界層流速對應趨勢。

Although scour has become a serious threat to breakwater structures, it is able to be predicted rapidly by applying the CFD numerical simulation, with low cost and high reliability. In the study, the numerical simulation of currents and wave fields, and wave-current interaction on flow fields were performed by the commercial code FLOW-3D® in purpose to investigate the causes of erosion by using data extracted from Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler as the requirements of tidal boundaries, a fixed-bed bottom boundary was generated by sounding data, and the harbor CAD physical model as the requirement of closing boundary. Moreover, sensitivity of both grid independence and numerical domain were tested to reach a steady flow field. The results of the study indicate that a contraction flow form at leeside of the breakwater during tidal cycle is conformed to currents data with numerical modeling. Furthermore, describe the distribution of velocity profiles, excess shear stress and tidal currents by visualization.
