以HSPICE設計電路相當方便,本文探討應用HSPICE於放大器設計中MODEL設定對輸出結果之影響。針對幾種不同MODEL設定,比較其前段模擬及後段模擬之不同,判斷其正確性,並歸納結論出HSPICE於MODEL上之正確設定方式。本研究分析與比較,結論出最佳設定方法為在有良好資料庫程式下取預設值。若MODEL設定成預設值,模擬軟體將根據電路中所設計之電晶體寬度和長度,自動找尋最適合相對應尺寸之元件MODEL。但若設成.MODEL=Level 49,模擬軟體將會選出尺寸不適合的元件MODEL。依本研究之結論,必使MODEL選擇到達最佳狀況,配合有創意之設計、正確電路設計等,必能設計出完美之晶片。
Using HSPICE is quite convenient to design the circuits. This document figures out when applied HSPICE to the amplifier design, how the MODEL setting to affect the result of output does. Researched several kinds of MODEL setting, and compared the differences between pre-simulation and post-simulation, this paper concludes the best way to use HSPICE MODEL in the program. After analyzed and compared in this research, it is concluded that the best setting is the default under having good database procedures. If MODEL is set up into the default, according to the designed width and length of devices in the circuit, the simulation software will automatically look for the MODEL components, which is the most suitable and corresponding size. But, if the setting is ”.MODEL=Level 49”, the simulation software may select unsuitable component in size from MODEL. Under the creative design, right circuit design, and following the conclusion of this research on correct way to use the MODEL, the perfect chip must be designed in the future.
