佛陀的靜坐理論探究:從第三波認知行為治療獲得的啟發

An exploration of the meditation theory of Buddha: Inspired by the use of mindfulness meditation in the third wave of cognitive behavioral therapy

摘要


本文擬用文獻探討的方式,陳述佛陀的靜坐理論。結果如下:(1)佛陀的靜坐理論顯示出靜坐目的是為了改變人們的認知,而靜坐過程就是轉識成智的過程;(2)佛陀教導弟子靜坐,用平等對待,如實觀察和聚焦當下等三原則處理當下浮現想法;和(3)靜坐不但與諮商理論的治療目的相符,也可提升諮商師的效能,及減輕案主症狀。

The purpose of this article was to adopt literature review to describe the meditation theory of Buddha. The results are presented as follows: First, the meditation theory of Buddha indicates that the purpose of meditation is to change people's cognition. The process of meditation is the process of transformation from consciousness to wisdom. Second, Buddha teaches his disciples to practice meditation. He wants them to follow three principles to deal with automatic thoughts. These principles are to treat equally, to observe what things really are, and to focus on here and now. Third, the rationale of meditation not only coincides with the goals of counseling, but also enhances the effectiveness of counselors' skills so as to reduce symptoms of clients.
