摘要

渦輪增壓器是一種增加內燃機引擎性能的裝置，透過將額外的壓縮空氣驅動到內燃機中來提高燃料經濟性。在本研究中，渦輪增壓器的渦輪葉片被修改為更薄，將修改過的渦輪增壓器的性能與原始渦輪增壓器的性能進行比較，結果發現，當轉速小於3000rpm時，制動比燃料消耗率(BSFC)得到改善。除此之外，改進的渦輪增壓器的增壓閾值也降低到較低的轉速。

Turbocharger is a device increases IC engine performance and improves fuel economics by driven extra compressed air into the engine. In the present study, the turbine blades of turbocharger are modified to be thinner. The performance of the modified turbocharger is compared with that of the original turbocharger. The results show that the brake specific fuel consumption is improved as the rotation speed is less than 3000rpm. In addition, the boost threshold of the modified turbocharger is also reduced to lower rpm.
