摘要
“性”涵蓋身體、心理與社會層面，任一層面的不完滿都可能影響性健康。人類的生命週期中皆會經驗到發育、生殖、老化、生活意外、疾病過程與治療的事件，這些過程都可能直接或間接的影響性健康，是全人照護中不可忽略的層面。疾病過程或因疾病所引起之合併症可經由直接、間接與醫源性等三種影響方式對生理與心理層面造成衝擊，影響患者的性健康。性健康護理是一個複雜的護理處置過程，護理人員運用性健康照護模式，可協助其將病人性生活相關之訊息涵蓋於護理評估，於護理過程中循序了解病人性健康問題，以達到全人照護的目標。臨床上常應用PLISSIT模式與BETTER模式，以了解引起個案性生活型態失常的原因，提供相關的資訊或建議，或協助轉介個案以獲得更進一步的專業治療。期待藉由性健康照護，達到落實全人照護的目標。

＂Sexuality＂ covers the physical, psychological, and social aspects; any of them with defectiveness may influence human sexual health. Life cycle of human beings will experience different phrases or things such as growth, fertility, aging, and diseases and corresponding treatments. All of these experiences may directly or indirectly affect sexual health, and these are essential to the holistic care. Disease progress and disease-induced complication may directly, indirectly, or iatrogenically impact patients' physical and psychological health. In addition, it may also influence patients' sexual health. Sexual health care is a complicated nursing intervention. With the application of sexual health care model, the nurses could apply patients' sexual health related information to nursing assessments, as well as to nursing process to further understand patients' sexual health problems. As a result, the goal of the holistic care may be achieved. Application of PLISSIT and BETTER model should be encouraged in the clinical settings to examine factors influencing sexual dysfunction among patients, to offer relevant information or suggestions, or to assist transferring patients to realize further professional treatments. We hope that the goal of holistic care could be accomplished through the applying of sexual health care.
