摘要
本文乃針對細胞毒化學治療劑在抗癌藥物上的發展歷史、抗癌的機制行為以及在臨床上的研究現況，做一概括性的探討。內容依其作用機轉分為八大類：（一）烷化試劑（二）鉑錯合物（三）代謝拮抗劑（四）抗有絲分裂試劑（五）拓璞異構酶I抑制劑（六）拓璞異構酶II抑制劑（七）DNA崁入試劑（八）DNA切割試劑等。期望能提供讀者對於細胞毒化學治療劑有一初步的認識。

In this review we described briefly the history and anticancer properties of cytotoxic agents and their recent development in clinical trials. Eight catagories of cytotoxic anticancer agents are reviewed: (1) alkylating agents, (2) platinums, (3) anti-metabolites, (4) anti-rnitotics, (5) Topo I inhibitors, (6) Topo II inhibitors, (7) DNA intercalators, and (8) DNA cleaving agents.
