On the Pronunciation Differences Between British English and American English

摘要


American English, originated from British English, is a regional variation of British English. British English and American English are different in many aspects. This paper mainly analyzes the differences between them from the perspective of pronunciation, so as to clearly understand the characteristics of British and American pronunciation, which will help to avoid the confusion in the use of two, and improve English foundation and English communication ability.
