HI-PVC 管長期耐水壓特性評估

HI-PVC Pipe Long-term Hydrostatic Strength

摘要


在台灣使用塑膠管作為維生管線有超過50年的歷史。然而,在這些塑膠管中,聚氯乙烯管(PVC Pipe)比聚乙烯管(PE Pipe)、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物管(ABS Pipe)和聚丙烯管(PP Pipe)較常使用。但PVC管的長期耐久性差且具有毒性較不環保。因此耐衝擊聚氯乙烯管(HI-PVC Pipe)是一種PVC管的改良品,具有良好的耐久性、抗撓性且環保無毒。但需要進行長期靜液壓強度測試,來評估HI-PVC管道系統的長期耐久性。 本研究之材料採用本地製造的HI-PVC管進行恆溫和長期恆定靜液壓強度試驗,以評估溫度與應力的關係,並依CNS 7050標準評估HI-PVC管之長期耐水壓特性,以及CNS 15318熱塑性塑膠管材長期靜液壓強度外插測定法。試驗HI-PVC管的內徑和厚度分別為40±1 mm和4±0.4 mm,試驗溫度為25℃及40℃。在進行試驗前,將試樣在恆溫水槽中調節至少1小時。對每種測試條件進行至少三個測試實驗。在25℃和40℃下,HI-PVC管的試驗最大應力破壞值為4.16 MPa和3.33 MPa,因此在研究過程中逐步降低試驗水壓值,水溫保持一樣。降低的試驗壓力值以0.27 MPa至0.28 MPa為一個單位,對每個測試水溫進行至少4組靜液壓力強度測試。其目前現有結果為,25℃和40℃破壞應力值為2.77 MPa和2.22 MPa,破壞時間分別為886小時和387小時。 將25℃及40℃兩種溫度實驗數值使用最小二乘方法來迴歸分析,由迴歸分析可以推估25℃的長期靜液壓強度破壞時間約為10萬小時。其25℃和40℃實驗值與預測應力值之誤差為3.52 %和4.36 %。根據測試HI-PVC管的後續測試數據,預計可推估至50萬小時的長期靜液壓強度。

Plastic pipes for life lines usage was more than 50 years in Taiwan. Among of these plastic pipes, PVC pipe is more popular than the other plastic pipes, such as PE pipe, ABS pipe, and PP pipe. However, PVC pipe is not an environmental-friendly product. The long-term durability is also a concern for PVC pipe. HI-PVC pipe is an environmental-friendly product with better durability and flexibility. However, long-term hydrostatic pressure performance test is required to ensure the long-term durability of this HI-PVC pipe system. The objective of this study is to conduct a series of constant temperature and long-term constant hydrostatic pressure breakage test of a local made HI-PVC pipe to determine the long-term hydrostatic strength (LTHS), such as 50-year, of this test pipe system. The inside diameter and thickness of the test HI-PVC pipe are 40±1 mm and 4±0.4 mm, respectively. The test temperatures were 25 oC and 40 oC. The test pipe section was conditioned in a constant temperature water tank for at least one hour before any test conducted. A minimum three test samples were conducted for each test conditions. The short-term hydrostatic strengths for 25 oC and 40 oC water temperature conditions were 3.33 MPa and 4.12 MPa. A series of step decreased hydrostatic pressure tests with constant water temperature were conducted. The step decreasing hydrostatic pressure was 0.27 to 0.28 MPa. A minimum 4 steps hydrostatic pressure strength tests were conducted for each test water temperature. Up to now, the maximum breakage durations for 25 oC and 40oC water temperatures with 2.77 MPa and 2.22 MPa hydrostatic pressure were 886 hours, and 387 hours, respectively. A linear least-square regression analysis was conducted based upon the available 25 oC and 40 oC hydrostatic pressure versus pipe breakage duration data, the 25o C long-tern hydrostatic strength breakage line can be extended to 100,000 hours. The variations of the LTHS regression lines for 25 oC and 40 oC were 3.52 % and 4.36 %, respectively. Two more hydrostatic pressure tests were continuously performed for both 25 oC and 40 oC water temperatures conditions. It is expected that a maximum of 500,000 hours LTHS can be determined based upon the next step test data for the test HI-PVC pipe.
