因應《國家語言發展法》於民國 108 年將臺灣手語與本土語言並列納入國家語言中,並將國家語言列為十二年國民基本教育部定課程提供一般學童也有學習臺灣手語的機會。現今數位遊戲式學習在教育界有著廣泛的運用,且有許多研究指出數位遊戲式學習對於學童的學習是正向的,但目前較少研究針對數位遊戲式學習結合手語辭彙的教學方式,為了增進一般學子對臺灣手語的學習興趣與成效,本研究將臺灣常見料理的手語詞彙與數位遊戲式學習進行結合,製作一款臺灣手語結合數位遊戲式學習的網頁遊戲—手語精靈,並評估對使用者的學習成效之影響。 本研究將遊戲分為8個關卡,透過每個關卡使用者可以學到不同的手語詞彙,遊玩前後使用者會分別進行前後測以及問卷來評估學習成效,並蒐集遊戲內數據進行補助分析,預期手語精靈能在未來作為課堂補助教材進行使用。
In response to the "Development of National Languages Act" in 108, Taiwan Sign Language and local languages were included in the national languages side by side, and the national languages was included in the twelve-year compulsory education curriculum guidelines to provide general school childrens with the opportunity to learn Taiwan Sign Language. Nowadays, digital game-based learning has a wide range of applications in the academia, and there are many studies pointing out that digital game-based learning is positive for the learning of students, but at present, less research is on the teaching method of digital game-based learning combined with sign language vocabulary, in order to enhance the interest and effectiveness of general students in the learning of Taiwan sign language, this study combines the sign language vocabulary of common Taiwan street food with digital game-based learning, and produces a web game of Taiwan sign language combined with digital game-based learning - Sign Language Elves Game, and evaluates the impact on the learning effectiveness of users. This study divides the game into 8 levels. Through each level, users can learn different sign language vocabulary. Before and after the game, users will take pre- and post-tests and questionnaires to evaluate the learning effect, and collect in-game data for supplementary analysis. It is expected that Sign Language Elves can be used as a classroom supplement in the future.
