設計插畫雜誌封面之視覺表現研究－以dpi雜誌為例

研究背景：雜誌市場競爭激烈，在讀者對內文未知的情況下，封面是幫助雜誌從同類型刊物中脫穎而出的最佳方式。封面將主題、內容濃縮並視覺化藉以吸引讀者，協助雜誌確立自身定位。其中，設計插畫類型雜誌以設計及圖像為賣點，相較於其他類型的雜誌，在封面表現上更著重設計感，然而針對此類型雜誌之研究甚少。研究方法：本研究旨在分析設計插畫雜誌封面之視覺表現，以國內知名設計插畫雜誌dpi 為研究樣本，運用內容分析法探討表現形式及應用特色；藉由語意分析法調查受測者對於設計插畫雜誌封面之意象感受，並檢驗受測者的背景在感受上是否有差異性。研究結果：研究結果顯示設計插畫雜誌之表現形式及應用特色為：（一）表現形式以半抽象為主、寫實為輔。（二）多採用直式版面做橫式編排之形式。（三）多樣化的字型、溫暖的色調及人物主題是畫面構成特色。（四）主要以插畫來呈現，偏好使用平衡原理為技法上之特色；對於封面感受，結果顯示為：（一）設計插畫雜誌封面帶給人繁複、創意且具藝術性的感受。（二）性別與專業背景的差異會影響封面感受。（三）女性有信心評量封面色彩及外觀之感受。（四）專業背景者有自信評量封面色彩及外觀之感受。

Magazine market is highly competitive. The cover is the best way to help magazines stand out from the same type of publication when the reader in the case of text unknow. The cover will be the theme, content concentration and visualization to attract readers, to assist the magazine to establish their own positioning. Among them, for the type of design illustration magazine, design and illustration is a selling point, compared to other types of magazines, the cover shows more attention to sense of design. However, studies for this type of magazine is rarely. The purpose of this study is to analyze the visual representation of design illustration magazine covers, take the well-known design illustration magazine DPI as the research sample. The application of content analysis method to explore the manifestations and characteristics of the application. And investigate feeling from the readers about design illustration of the cover of the magazine by semantic analysis. The subjects were different backgrounds. The research results show that the design illustration magazine's expression form and its application characteristics are expressed in the form of semi abstract, supplemented by realistic. Mostly take the straight sections form for horizontal arrangement. A variety of fonts, warm colors and characters of the theme is the composition of the picture. Mainly presented by illustration, prefer to use the balance of the principle to be the characteristics of the techniques; the results showed that the magazine cover's perception. Design illustration magazine covers give complicated and creative feeling to readers and have artistry. The difference between gender and professional background will influence reader's feeling. Women have a sense of confidence in how to estimate magazine's color and appearance. Person who has professional background has the confidence of the assessment of magazine cover's color and appearance.
