動態RSVP影像呈現介面最佳化設計評估-以網路書店為例

Usability Evaluation of Dynamic Rapid Serial Visual Presentation on E-Bookstores

摘要


本研究利用快速序列視覺呈現(Rapid Serial Visual Presentation,簡稱RSVP)介面、圖片移動速度、移動方向以及圖片大小,設計一個符合可用性原則之網路書店模擬系統,進行網路書店書籍書目之動態影像搜尋和瀏覽任務之可用性評估。27位受試者進行田口直交表試驗(L27(13^13)),實驗搜集視覺績效分數和實驗前後之閃光融合閾值,以及實驗後之使用者介面滿意度問卷(QUIS)資料。實驗結果顯示,搜尋任務之辨識正確率極高,表示使用者有極佳的搜尋效率和正確性;變異數分析顯示RSVP模組與移動速度的交互作用對於平均瀏覽分數有顯著影響;然而未能證實設計因子對於閃光融合閾值差值之差異性;使用者介面滿意度問卷結果顯示、使用者對於可學習性、可記憶性、效率性以及滿意度都達到使用者滿意之需求,無論何種RSVP模組,中速(30 FPS)和中尺寸影像大小(113*163像素)有最佳之介面整體滿意度。

The objective of this study is to evaluate visual performance and visual fatigue in dynamic rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) image interface. To find an optimal design for a user-centered dynamic RSVP interface, an L27(3^13) orthogonal array experiment is used to collect the data of visual performance score, critical fusion frequency (CFF), users' satisfaction rating score using the questionnaire of user interface satisfaction (QUIS) after experiment. The results indicate that a good performance on searching task. For the browsing task, the interaction of RSVP and moving speed is statistically significant on browsing score. However, for visual fatigue, there is no sufficient evidence to support the significance of effects on DCFF. In addition, the results of QUIS indicate learnability, memoribility, efficiency and user satisfaction are all satisfied. The effects of moving speed and image size are statistically significant on overall user interface satisfaction and the best combination is 30 FPS and medium size (113*163 pixels).
