軟式義齒襯底材料之臨床應用

摘要

傳統全口活動義齒基底，在考量患者配戴義齒時間的持久性後，一般皆選擇硬式樹脂材料基底，來提供較佳時間上的穩定度。然而少數牙床不理想的患者，較無法忍受及適應硬式基底的全口活動義齒，因此有人建議此類患者改用軟式襯底材料作為義齒基底，來增加患者舒適度和配戴的成功率。然而軟式襯底材料的使用上，目前仍因部份問題有待克服，而沒有廣泛被應用在全口義齒基底上。本篇文章從軟式襯底材料的成份、分類、特性、作用原理、優缺點、使用時機及相關產品的臨床及技工室操作步驟等，來說明其臨床應用。雖然軟式襯底材料不是萬能，但在臨床反復治療時可當作有用之工具。

Traditionally, hard denture base in complete denture is superior after considering denture resin and wearing time of patient. However, some patient with poor residual alveolar ridge could not tolerate and adapt complete denture. Thus some experts suggest to use soft lining material to reline denture base and provide better comfort of patient and success rate of wearing complete denture. So far, soft lining materials aren't used extensively in denture base of complete denture because they still have some problem to overcome. The article provides a background for understanding the properties of soft lining materials, describing the application of soft denture lining material from compositions, classification, characteristics, principle of function, advantage/disadvantage, suitable time of usage and related clinical and Lahorary procedure. Although not a panacea, soft liner materials provide the dentist with a valuable tool in clinically prosthetic treatment.
