The "three stars" mentioned in the poem Choumou(綢繆) has been interpreted by numerous scholars throughout Chinese history. This study adopts the interpretation of Master Mou(毛公) who regards the three stars as Shēn(參),the three stars of the Orion's Belt.In the poem,Star Shēn refers to the three different months in the three chapters respectively. On the other hand, the "Three Documents and Six Ceremonies"(三書六禮) signifies a series of processes in Chinese Traditional Wedding Ceremony. This study aims to explore the relationship between the "Three Documents and Six Ceremonies" and the three stars in the poem Choumou.
