The Fifteenfold Way of the SU(4) Symmetry Scheme of Strongly Interacting Particles

A new model of classification of strongly interacting particles is proposed, in which particles are assigned to those representations of SU(4) that come out from the Kronecker products of the regular {15} representations. Mass formulae are derived and new particles are predicted. To account only those particles that have been found experimentally and avoid predicting dubiously too many new particles, an ”N-degeneracy” model is suggested, by which particles of the same ”N-spin” multiplet are assumed to be the same particle. Some physical consequences of this model are discussed.
