Positive Energy Test of Teleparallel Theory

The theoretical requirement of positive total energy, which we have advcated as a good test for alternative gravitational theories, is here used to restrict the acceptable values of the parameters for the generic teleparallel theory of gravity. The test succeeds in excluding all but a very narrow range of the parameters.
