The Radiologic Findings of Intrathoracic Extramedullary Hematopoiesis
胸腔內骨髓外造血之影像所見－2病例報告
摘要
骨髓外造血，發現於胸腔內者相當少見，但常因其他無關的胸部檢查而被發現。本文報告兩例此種發現於胸腔內之骨髓外造血：其均位於後縱隔腔，於影像所見均呈現兩側性圓形腫塊，兩患者則分別合併有地中海型貧血或遺傳性球狀血球症。因此當後縱隔腔有兩側性圓形腫塊，且臨床有引起黃疸之相關性的血液疾病時，醫師須將胸腔內之骨髓外造血，列入鑑別診斷。

Extramedullary hematopoiesis is thought to be a consequence of long-term stimulation of erythropoiesis, and its intrathoracic involvement is a rare condition. We present radiographic findings of 2 cases of intrathoracic extramedullary hematopoiesis with bilateral paravertebral masses in the posterior mediastinum.
