We report on a patient with the habit of glue sniffing who presented with hypokalemic paralysis. Glue had been widely used in the world and toluene isa its major composition. Toluene is metabolized in the liver to hippuric acid, which provides the load of hydrogen ion. The most common acid, base and electroclinical problems of the patient were spontaneoulu recovered byfluid hydration with normal saline only. .
