本研究目的在探討退化性關節炎病患憂鬱程度與其疼痛及自我照顧能力之相關性。係採橫斷式研究設計,對象為中部某三家醫院骨科門診之退化性關節炎病患共153位。採結構式問卷,內容包含人口學變項、自評健康程度量表、憂鬱量表及自我照顧能力量表。資料以SPSS 10.0套裝軟體進行分析,結果顯示研究對象的憂鬱狀態,以「我覺得我和別人過得一樣好」平均得分最高,「人們是不友善的」得分最低。樣本之性別、婚姻狀況、照顧者來源、疼痛、罹病年數與患者之憂鬱狀態有統計上顯著性差異。因此,本研究結果可提供護理人員照護退化性關節炎病患之相關訊息,並適時的發現病患之憂鬱程度,以提供適當的介入措施,以維持患者自我照顧能力,並增進其生活品質。
The objective of this study is to investigate the relationships between depression, pain and self-care ability among osteoarthritis patents. A cross-sectional design was conducted and 153 osteoarthritis patients were collected from orthopedic clinic in three hospitals of central Taiwan. All participants was interviewed using a structural questionnaire which contained four domains including 1) demographic information; 2) the scores of health status; 3) depression level and 4) the score of self-care ability. All data were analyzed by SPSS for Windows 10.0 (version). Results indicated that for depression item of ”I felt that I was just as good as other people” was the highest score but item of ”People were unfriendly” was the lowest score. Gender, marital status, the source of self-care, the score of pain and the duration of illness were significantly related to the depression level of participants. Our findings recommend hospital staffs should understand the depression level and assess their influencing factors among osteoarthritis patients. It can help to promote nursing interventions in order to improve self-care ability and to improve living quality of osteoarthritis patients.
