摘要

楊廷理乃清代治臺名宦，一生歷經乾隆、嘉慶兩朝，自乾隆五十一年（1786）來臺任官始，爾後幾經波折，三度在臺為宦，前後時間長達十六年之久，與臺灣之因緣頗為深厚，亦屬來臺遊宦者所罕見。今楊廷理詩留有千餘首，其中多為抒發其宦遊體驗之作，故本文以「楊廷理詩文之仕宦情懷研究」為題，主要從楊廷理從年少時身懷壯志，對仕途充滿期待，亟欲經世濟民，爾後踏上仕途，雖屢遭中傷、險阻，心中滿懷不平，卻始終不改初衷，在艱困環境中持續奮鬥之一生為線索，配合其詩文作品之自白，突顯身為士大夫之楊廷理，因「宦海浮沉」而生之種種體驗與省思。

Yang Ting-Li is a famous officer of Taiwan in Qing Dynasty. His life crossed the Qianlong(乾隆) and Jiaqing(嘉慶) era. When Yang Ting-Li came to Taiwan as an officer since 1786, his official experience had been fluctuated. Yang Ting-Li had come to Taiwan thrice as an officer for sixteen years that makes a compact relationship to Taiwan. In Yang Ting-Li's poems and essays, usually expresses his official travelling experiences, which talks about his aspiration in the young, but had many setbacks in his official life later. This article mainly probes the official belief of Yang Ting-Li, that is how to face the political situation which is inequable as an officer.
