在這裡，我們先將理論著手、並簡述政治與經濟的關係，接著回顧加拿大與美國貿易及其隱憂，再來由行政協定的審查探討『海峽兩岸服務貿易協議』，最後再介紹「跨太平洋夥伴關係」與台灣的關連。

We shall start with a review of the literature on the relationships between politics and economy. After examining the trade between Canada and the United States, we will then examine the legislative watch of executive agreements, with a special focus on the Cross-Strait Agreement on Trade in Services between Taiwan and China. Finally, we will look into the Trans-Pacific Partnership and its relevance to Taiwan
