大蒜水溶性化合物S-ethyl cysteine降低反式油酸造成小鼠氧化傷害之效應

摘要


在先前的研究中已知大蒜水溶性化合物S-ethyl cysteine (SEC) 具有抗高血糖、抗心血管疾病、抗氧化等功能。本研究使用5週齡雄性C57BL/6小鼠隨機分為五組,在小鼠正常飲食下持續給予每週灌食2次,持續灌食8週,劑量為反油酸 (2 mL/kg B.W.) + 載劑芥花油 (6 mL/kg B.W.) 及芥花油組 (8 mL/kg B.W.),並給予飲水添加S-ethyl cysteine (SEC) 1 g/L,每日紀錄其飲水量,於犧牲前12小時禁食後犧牲。結果顯示,在大蒜水溶性化合物SEC作用下,肝臟中抗氧化酵素有顯著提升,且肝損傷之情況有改善之趨勢,而血清內胰島素濃度及血糖濃度下降,因此推測大蒜水溶性化合物SEC具有降低反式油酸所造成之氧化傷害之功效。

We reported the protective effect of the garlic aqueous extract S-ethyl cysteine (SEC) previously, which has anti-hyperglycemia ,anti-cardiovascular disease and anti-oxidation function. In this study, 5 weeks old male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into five groups, and gavaged twice a week with calona oil (8 mL/kg B.W.) in calona oil group and elaidic acid oil (2 mL/kg B.W.) plus calona oil (6 mL/kg B.W.) in group and group EA+SEC, for eight weeks. In group SEC and group EA+SEC, we gave SEC 1g/L of water solution and record the water intake every day and than process NPO to 12 hours before sacrificed. The data shows that after treatment with SEC, the anti-oxidation enzyme level were restored to the baseline, the liver injury situation was improved. In the serum, the insulin concentration and blood glucose level were decreased. As a result, we demonstrate that the garlic aqueous extract SEC can protect the oxidation injury of mice form trans fatty acid.
