楊絳 (1911-) 是中國當代重要作家之一,也是學者,早年曾以戲劇聞名,而後小說、文論、翻譯、散文皆有代表作。楊絳不只經歷豐富,其作品之產出在晚年更見多樣。此處所指的「晚境」乃定焦在楊絳幾部晚年創作,且有相當代表性的散文作品,而不涉及小說,以避免談論對象太多以致過於繁雜。 晚境,可以是年齡,也可以是心靈和態度上的指稱。就楊絳的情況,作品中展現的晚年心境恰可與年齡相符,這點可以在《幹校六記》明顯看到。楊絳晚年的創作呈現怎樣的面貌、美感或境界是筆者好奇的內容,也是研究楊絳不可不論的部分。 對於楊絳散文的分析,筆者期以三個方向入手,分別是風格、作家以及散文寄託及相關元素。風格者,作品之獨特以及引人入勝處。作家本人,則本身亦是一本大書,讀其文字便如讀其為人處世之道,這點在楊絳身上的表現又比較豐富。此外,若以風格為作品骨幹,則散文寄託可說是其軀體;同時代的作家內容或許有相似處,但同一件事的不同寫法和想像則得以讓讀者辨識各個作家。筆者此處以上述三者為主要觀點,試圖以不同面向探討楊絳散文的特出處及其關注所在。
Yang Jiang is one of the contemporary Chinese writers. As a scholar, Yang Jiang was famous for dramas in her early years, and she is also known for novels, studies, translations, and prose. Yang Jiang have plentiful experiences so that she writes various kinds of literatures in her later years. I will emphasize what Yang Jiang write in her later years. I choose the representative prose, and get rid of novels in order to make this paper clean. “Old age” includes both years and attitudes. The mental state that Yang Jiang shows in her writings is in keeping with her age. And we can find the situation in Six Chapters from My Life “Downunder”. I try to research into aesthetic feelings of Yang Jiang’s prose. I analyze Yang Jiang’s prose in three parts, styles, the writer, and meanings. I will show you how charming Yang Jiang’s works are. We read Yang Jiang’s works, and we will know Yang Jiang’s principles.
