《蜀山劍俠傳》之思想及人物探析

摘要

本論文透過整理相關論述及資料，希望能夠得出在思想上，作者如何經由人物角色，確立《蜀山》一書的「核心思想」，消解「儒」、「釋」、「道」三家不同的體系。藉由「三教合一」的理想形式，還珠樓主將價值不同的三個中國主流宗教哲學思想，並行不悖地落實在中國人的生活日用，就表現型態言之，還珠樓主以想像力、超驗的筆法突破當時惡劣社會政治環境，結合當時剛剛引進中國的諸多科學知識，以普羅大眾可以理解接受的方式，鎔鑄中國獨特的「應世」、「出世」的方式，使用「道術」、「佛法」的藝術手法，創造前有所承，後有所啟的「奇幻武俠」。一方面在當時文壇獨步一時，另一方面對於其後的文學又別有生發。文本自前三回的「寫實」逐步進到「奇幻」，乃至掙脫文體及現實素材的拘限，逐步完成還珠樓主獨特的書寫模式，進一步對其後的武俠文壇產生了影響。人物的探析部分引入坎伯於神話學中提及的英雄歷程，以及相關隱喻理論，從神話學角度探析人物類別、表現型態。藉由法寶與人物之間的投射、隱喻關係，推衍出《蜀山》角色的性格與情節的相關性，最後歸納出文本對現當代武俠小說的影響，並得出許多未來研究發展的各面向。

Through the material collection and studies on “Shu-Shan”, I truly hoped to explore the central dogma in this book, especially on how “Confucianism”, “Buddhism”, and “Taoism” may possibly effect on the everyday life in Chinese. The “Huanzhu-louzhu” had utilized his talent in imagination combining with his artistic taste to express his observation on the society as well as his future view in “Shu-Shan”. He had created a new style on writing “Fantasy fiction” that is totally different from the others. Since “Shu-Shan” is quite unique in “Martial arts novels”, it is my ambition to depict how this great novel cans influent most of the novels after him. In addition, the theory on “Hero adventure in Mythology” from Joseph Campbell is applied in this article to analyze the growth of the characters in “Shu-Shan”. By characterizing the “magic weapon”, the personality and the plots of story progression is also addressed and depicted. Finally, with all these analysis, I would like to composed how this great novel influence our current “Martial arts novels” and suggest the possible prospective on the future novels.
