“What I Want to Tell You” is a glyph art piece to express author’s feelings to his father. Those feelings convert into words slowly through ruminating on author’s memories about his father. By drawing, the space of feelings inside the author’s mind, which is a world can’t be only described with words, was rebuilt. It’s more like collecting the pieces of memories, a process to deconstruct and reconstruct the strokes of Chinese character. The piece is not only expressing author’s feelings to his father but also an opportunity to figure out author himself again. Furthermore, author attempts to look for some kinds of soft and warm feelings through the project as well.
