Bisphosphonate are widely used in the management of metastatic disease to the bone and in the treatment of osteoporosis. The side effect due to use bisphosphonate are impermanent and mild. Since 2003, using various bisphosphonates has been associated with the development of osteonecrosis of the jaws (ONJ). We report 1 case of ONJ attributed to bisphosphonate administration. The treatment for ONJ included debridement, sequestrectomy and antibiotics. The wound healing well and no recurrent.
