摘要

灼口症候群（Burning mouth syndrome BMS）和非典型牙痛atypical odontalgia（AO）皆是屬於慢性顏面疼痛症候群的一種，發作的原因不明，臨床上並無器官上或是解剖上的病變，故在診斷上或是治療上對於牙醫師來說，是一種挑戰及困擾，在本文中，除解析兩種臨床上的診斷和治療外，因為病患同時患有顳顎關節疾病，而使用咬合板配合藥物治療以後，意外看到不一樣的治療效果。

Burning mouth syndrome (Burning mouth syndrome BMS) and atypical toothache/ atypical odontalgia (AO) were belong to the kind of chronic facial pain syndrome with unexplained episodes. There is no signs of organic pathosis or anatomical lesions clinically. It is a challenge and trouble for the dentist to make the diagnosis and treatment. In this case, in addition to discussion for different clinical diagnosis and treatment, we use the occlusal bite splint combined with drug and psychological support for the treatment. I found surprising different result, because patient had suffering from temporomandibular joint disorder.
