Caring with Cultural Consciousness and Cultural Competence: The Salong mode of Adult Forster Care

摘要

Salong（方瑤珍）是南投縣信義鄉羅娜家托的負責人，為部落中同為布農族的長者提供家庭托顧照顧服務。Salong自小由祖母帶大，在祖母的世界觀之中浸泡成長。過程中所積累的養分，為日後Salong營運家庭托顧所需的「照顧意識」與「文化能力」帶來貢獻。本文呈現「Salong模式」生成的脈絡，以及該模式於照顧服務現場實際呈現的樣貌。並說明「家庭托顧服務」在部落營運的潛力：鼓勵照顧者回到族群文化脈絡，發展出在地風格的家庭托顧服務「家風」。

Salong is a Bunun women in charge of Luluna adult foster care in Xinyi Township of Nantou County, providing care to Bunun elders with disabilities. Raised by her grandmother, Salong was immersed into the world view of Bunun people, which lays the foundation to operate the adult foster care with cultural consciousness and cultural competence. This article presents the development of Salong's adult foster care with a focus on indigenous culture in her daily practices. The potential of adult foster care in indigenous village is evaluated with a conclusion that adult forster care should be encouraged to develop their own caring style based on their own culture context.
